The end of October is invariably associated with the pumpkin. But, as a rule, in the form of Jack's Lamp carved out of it - the main attribute of Halloween. We decided to dedicate a whole week to the orange vegetable and cook the most delicious and unusual dishes from pumpkin. And we will start with pumpkin jam, which, by the way, is the only jam that helps... to lose weight!

Ingredients


Pumpkin 500 g
Sugar 500 g

Instructions


Step 1

Peel the skin and seeds from the pumpkin. Cut into small cubes.

Step 2

Boil the sugar syrup by adding 1/2 tbsp. water to the sugar. The sugar syrup is ready when the sugar has completely dissolved in the water and the syrup is clear.

Step 3

Place the pumpkin in a small saucepan and pour the sugar syrup over it.

Step 4

Bring the pumpkin mixture to a boil, turn off the heat. Cool, then bring back to a boil and cool.

Step 5

Spread the jam into sterile jars and close tightly.
